The Malala effect is about a 14 year old women who lives in Pakistan and spoke up for women and girls that women and girls have equal rights and should be asserted into the world. Malala was attacked by the Taliban. The next day after she spoke up, she was driving to school and got shot in the head, but she did survived but wont make it for long the hospital says. Children, adults, political parties and even the army have been stunned by the Taliban’s insane act. People around the world are outraged and thinking of a plan to stop this from happening in future years. The most shocking part is that the Taliban threaten to shoot the 14-year-old again if she survives. I find this outrages because this should not be acceptable in any country no matter what. I do think it was kinda of dumb of the girl to speak up because the Taliban run Pakistan and from previous times people who speak up die usually in the next week. But I think that the world should do something and try to eliminate the Taliban organization because they are causing to much trouble and ruining the middle-east.

The topic of the article is about Ottawa having information about Israel attacking the Iran nuclear sites.

b) who the article is concerning

The article is concerning the States and wondering if they should join in and help out and it is concerning Israel and Iran.

c) briefly describe the article

Ottawa has information about Israel attacking some of Iran’s Nuclear Sites and if the States should help out or not. The Israelis still say that they will attack even if they don’t have either States on their side.

d) your opinion of the article

I don’t think that states will join because they are in Afghanistan, so it will just be the Israelis and I don’t think they have the power to go in to Iran and take down these Nuclear Sites. I think Canada may get in to it and help the Israelis because we are peace keepers so I think will try to help them out and take out there Nuclear Sites.

e) does the news in the article affect you and your daily life; How?

No, this news does not affect my daily life because I know Canada is well protected and we have great allies like the States and the United Kingdom which are two very powerful countries and I don’t think anyone really wants to fight us because we are there just to help if it’s the right idea

The topic of this article is about the  Nexen Inc. shareholders  overwhelmingly voted in favour of a takeover of the Calgary-based energy company.

This article is concerning the people in China and Canada.

c) briefly describe the article

This article is about China buying some of Canada's enterprisers and China not letting Canada buy any of there's.

d) your opinion of the article

This isn't right. If we can't buy their enterprises we shouldn't let them buy ours. That's how free trade works. They're basically saying what's ours is ours and always will be, but what you have is negotiable.

e) does the news in the article affect you and your daily life; How?

This article doesn't affect my life because I don't live in Alberta or near the oil sands so it wont affect me. And if China buy's some enterprises from Canada it wont affect me. This may affect the market with oil or gas but I don't buy gas yet so it wont affect me.
